Socks and sweater

Knoll’s sweater – the first time in the past 3 years that he hasn’t complained about itchiness. It’s Abuelita Merino Worsted and hopefully it will neither pill nor matt as awfully as the reviews on Ravelry seem to suggest. It’s based on the seamless set-in sleeve from Barbara Walker’s book Knitting From the Top with the cables extrapolated from one of the knots in Elsebeth Lavold’s Viking Patterns for Knitting. I calculated the sleeves wrongly (not a surprise given that I started the project at 11 pm) but this defect doesn’t seem to bother Knoll in the least.

And some socks from the Canadian stash in some of Kaffe Fassett’s colourways for Regia!
