Soria is a curved semi-circular shawl based on Elizabeth Zimmerman’s Half-Pi Shawl.
The simple lace pattern is only 4 rows but repeats to great effect. The shawl then is finished with a ruffle of over 1000 sts. Don’t let that number intimidate you, though – it’s great TV knitting.
The top edge of the shawl has enough leeway to be blocked in a shallow or deep curve depending on your preference. Instructions are provided for larger and smaller sizes.
This pattern has been test-knitted.
