Norway provides me with much inspiration – Guro Heddelid, The Long Long Winter Night, 17th of May Shawl, the soon-to-be-unveiled Troldhaugen shawl and the as-yet-unknitted April in the Eastfold stole all draw on the landscape and folk music of my adopted country. This weekend we were back in the Eastfold where Odd-Even spent his childhood – among farmland and fjord so very reminiscent of my own childhood in Pacific Canada.
